Atlanta’s Plaz Tech Educational now offers a continuing education Arduino workshop,”Arduino Project Workshop 201.”
The scope of the one-day workshop is to provide educators (grades 6-12) who have some experience with Arduino Boards or those who have attended Plaz Tech’s Arduino 101 Workshop, with more advanced Arduino experience.
This workshop has been designed for grades 6-12 teachers, administrators, IT professionals, and technology coaches and specialists with some experience using and programming with Arduinos.
Learning Objectives:
- Review the basics of Arduinos and the programming language
- Work with analog and digital sensors
- Communicate with a PC via the Arduino
- Understand how to implement project-based Arduino curriculum
Projects Include:
- Reading an analog sensor on your PC
- Servo-motor control
- Music with the Arduino
- Input-output machine
The workshop includes an Arduino Project Starter Kit. However, if you already have one, bring it to the workshop, and we will discount the price by $50.00.
All attendees are required to have a working laptop at the workshop.
Plaz Tech workshops are held in downtown Atlanta. Click here for the schedule. Groups of three or more individuals can schedule a custom workshop , which can be held at our location downtown Atlanta, or anywhere in Georgia on any given day. All participants receive a Workshop Completion Certificate.
